Legacy Crossing — Care today. Security tomorrow.

Decide how care gets paid for before you need it.

Most families face long-term care costs with no plan and little time. We help you put one in place early, and when care has already started, we lay out every way to pay for it so you can choose with clear eyes.

Planning ahead starts with a 15-minute conversation.

Every family's situation is different, so we start by listening. In a quick phone call, we learn where your family stands and talk through how you'd like to plan for the future.

What we'll talk about

  • Your age and health today
  • Who in your family may need care, and when
  • Your home, savings and any life insurance you already have
  • What you want to leave for the next generation

Free, no obligation and nothing to buy.

Already paying for care? Here are your three options.

Each one fits some families and not others. We explain all three the same way, with what works and what to watch for. When you're ready, we handle the introductions for you.

Home equity line of credit

Borrow against the value of your home and draw funds only as care bills arrive. We review your situation and introduce you to a lender we work with.

Works well when
You own a home with meaningful equity and want to stay in it.
Watch for
Your home secures the loan, and payments are required.

Life settlement

Sell a life insurance policy you no longer need for a lump sum, often worth more than its cash surrender value. We review the policy and present it to licensed buyers on your behalf.

Works well when
Premiums have become a burden and the benefit is no longer needed.
Watch for
Your beneficiaries give up the death benefit, and proceeds may be taxable.

Personal loan

An unsecured loan from a bank or credit union, repaid in fixed monthly installments.

Works well when
You need a defined amount quickly and don't want to use your home.
Watch for
Rates depend on credit and are usually higher than secured loans.
Talk it through with us

Any of these can affect eligibility for Medicaid or VA benefits. If a family member receives or may apply for either, talk with us before choosing.

Tell us about your situation.

Share a few details and we'll take it from there. You won't be handed off to a website or a call center.

  1. We call you to understand your family's needs and timeline.
  2. We review your options and tell you plainly which ones fit.
  3. We make the introduction to the right lender or buyer and stay with you through the process.

We see what care costs families every week. Most of that strain could have been planned for.
